Are you ready to positively impact your world? Major university campuses are ideal places to spark thoughtful discussions, celebrate diversity, and challenge yourself. As an Ambassador Leader, participate in exclusive leadership curriculum, prepare for college, and serve the greater good – all while having the time of your life!

Program Highlights


Get a taste of college life, hear expert admissions advice, take on team challenges, and build your confidence with the help of mentors who are passionate to see you succeed in life.


With student leaders coming from all corners of the United States and across the world, the Summit is a unique opportunity to develop new global perspectives that will give you an edge in today’s competitive workforce. Friendships made at the Summit often last a lifetime!


Collaborating with your team on a meaningful Community Action Plan and hands-on service projects, you’ll learn how to set and accomplish Big Goals in any area of your life – whether making a difference in your community or your personal dreams. During the Summit students earn 20 service-learning hours.

Sample Program Itinerary


Arrive on campus and check in to the program. Meet your teacher leaders and join other students for ice-breakers while your family attends a brief orientation.

Enjoy the welcome dinner and Opening Address, and get to know your teacher leaders and staff who will guide you through the program.

Meet your group and get to know your teammates as you review the exciting week ahead.

Discover the key steps to constructing an effective Community Action Plan, and learn about the Lead2Feed project your team will develop during the Summit.

Push your limits during a hands-on team-building experience at Hale Reservation. Get to know your team as you solve problems and overcome obstacles together.

Get inspired to make your own path by a motivational speaker Sunjay Nath. You’ll never forget his entertaining yet deeply thought-provoking message.

Begin working on your team project and examine your personal strengths and talents you can bring to the team.

Learn how to gain control of your life, resist peer pressure, and achieve personal success during a fun and interactive workshop The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens®.

Explore the Harvard campus and take in its unique history and traditions during an entertaining campus tour led by Harvard students.

Take part in a college life presentation to hear what college life is really like, and gain insights into the college admissions process.

Create your team identity, research the issue of hunger or another community need, and decide on your Big Goal as you continue working on your project with your team.

Take in the sights of Boston. Retrace the historic steps on the Freedom Trail and Boston’s Little Italy, see the Paul Revere House, the Old North Church, and more.

Visit the JFK Presidential Library and enjoy the sights of Boston Harbor, then make a stop at another renowned university – MIT, where some of the most brilliant minds studied before they made engineering and technological history.

Back on campus, you’ll develop a vision and action plan for your project, and identify the people you will need to take with you to achieve your Big Goal.

During the Global Youth Panel you will examine how you can be more aware and effective in cross-cultural settings—a must-have skill for today’s workforce and global community.

Give back to the local community through a hands-on service project led by United Way. Learn how this non-profit helps communities all across the United States and the world, and how you can make your community action plan go further.

In your team meeting, you’ll learn how to share your vision in a confident and compelling way and how to overcome the barriers for success.

Put the finishing touches on your team project and get ready to present tomorrow.

It’s show time! Present your project and get feedback. Take the new skills you gained with you, to make a difference in your home community.

Celebrate, bond and show your style during a cruise in the Boston Harbor, then visit the Prudential Towers and shop for mementos to remember your time in Boston.

Enjoy a special evening with your friends – trust that these bonds will last a lifetime.

In the morning, bid farewell to your friends and teacher leaders. Keep up your commitment to be the best leader you can be. We are counting on you to do great things.
