Collaborate with fellow Ambassador Leaders on creative group projects and solutions, uncover what you are passionate about and set a course to your dream college and career. With newfound confidence and friendships, you’ll be ready to take on the world.

Push your limits, build confidence and take ownership for your own success as you work with your team to solve problems and overcome obstacles together. At the specially designed workshop Creating a Leadership Legacy® held at the iconic Disney California Adventure® Park you’ll discover your leadership brand and be inspired to achieve the impossible.
MAKE AN IMPACT
Prepare to make a difference by developing a meaningful Community Action Plan and give back to the local community through a hands-on service project. In the process, you’ll learn how to take on and accomplish Big Goals—in any area of your life, and earn 20 service-learning hours.

2022 LEADERSHIP IN ACTION SUMMIT AT UCLA
Arrive on campus and check in. Join other students for ice-breakers while your family attends a brief orientation.
Enjoy the welcome dinner and Opening Address, and meet your teacher leaders and staff who will guide you through the program.
Get to know your teammates as you review the exciting week ahead.
Discover the key steps to constructing an effective Community Action Plan. It’s an effective roadmap for how to set and achieve any goal.
Push your limits during a hands-on team-building experience. Bond with your team as you solve problems and overcome obstacles together.
Get inspired to face your challenges and go after your dreams by a motivational guest speaker.
Begin working on your team project and examine the personal strengths and talents you can bring to the team.
Give back to the local community through a hands-on service project with United Way. Learn how this non-profit helps communities all across the United States and the world, and how you can make your community action plan go further.
Explore the UCLA campus and learn about its unique traditions and culture during a tour led by UCLA students.
Take part in a College Panel with UCLA students and hear firsthand what college life is really like, then put together your own college wish list.
Research ways to address a global issue like hunger, or another need in your community that your team can tackle as your Big Goal.
During your visit to the iconic Disney California Adventure® Park, discover Walt Disney’s secret of making dreams come true. Take part in a specially designed workshop, Creating a Leadership Legacy® and learn how you can discover your personal brand, take ownership for your success and achieve the impossible.
After the workshop, see Walt Disney’s dream in action and explore Disney California Adventure® Park with your friends.
Back on campus, you’ll develop a vision and action plan for your team project.
Confront the issues of prejudice around the world and learn how you can be an agent of change during a multimedia experience at the Museum of Tolerance.
During the Global Youth Panel with your peers, consider how you can build your cultural awareness (CQ)—a must-have skill for today’s workforce.
Meet with UCLA Admissions Officers, gain insights into the college admissions process and how you can set yourself apart.
In your team meeting, you’ll learn how to share your vision in a compelling way and how to overcome barriers for success.
It’s your time to shine! Present your project to your peers and leaders. Take the new skills you gained with you, and make a difference in your home community.
Explore the vibrant city of Los Angeles, from the hills of Hollywood to the sun-soaked beaches. See iconic Hollywood theaters such as the Chinese and Dolby Theaters and become a star for a moment on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Celebrate your accomplishments and enjoy a special evening with your friends at the famous Santa Monica Pier.
In the morning, bid farewell to your friends and teacher leaders. Keep up your commitment to be the best leader you can be. We are counting on you to do great things.

Ambassador Leadership Summits are solely developed and operated by Ambassador Leaders and are not sponsored by UCLA or any of its schools or programs.
It is a wonderful opportunity for students to become independent and confident.
